Deep Roots - Lakeside Steel Corporation has a long and rich history in manufacturing steel pipe and tubing. Operations began in 1909 under the name of Page-Hersey Iron Tube & Lead Company. Over the years, the company expanded adding new mills and replacing old ones as technology evolved. In 1965, Stelco Inc., Canada’s largest steel company purchased Page-Hersey. In 1985, Stelco Page-Hersey Works became Stelpipe Ltd. Under the Stelpipe banner, the company underwent significant modernization and increased its participation in various pipe and tube markets including Commercial & Industrial Pipe, Automotive, Mining and Oil & Gas. On November 1, 2005, Lakeside Steel Corporation purchased Stelpipe's facilities. We continue to supply our customers with products, service and dedication while striving to explore new markets and product lines.
